Competition Act Disclaimer
Crew has temporarily removed some of the environmental and climate content from this page.
The federal government recently made certain amendments to the Competition Act, which creates significant uncertainty in respect of how Canadian companies may legally communicate with the public regarding their environmental goals and performance, including their climate change mitigation efforts. With uncertainty on how the new law will be interpreted and applied, and in the absence of any transition period or guidance from the government, Crew has decided to restrict public access to our environmental related communications at this time.
Crew’s approach to safe and environmentally responsible operations, while remaining committed to sound environmental, social and governance practices, remains an integral part of our fundamental business tenet. Crew believes the oil and gas industry has a key role to play in reducing Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions while creating a strong economy and helping provide Canadians with secure access to affordable energy.
