Crew’s draft Integrated Pest Management Plan (“IPMP”) is posted for public review and provides detailed information regarding the Company’s approach for controlling unwanted vegetation in the province of British Columbia.
The IPMP reflects Crew’s commitment to protecting local land and biodiversity, and outlines the Company’s requirements and procedures for the management of unwanted vegetation including site assessments, establishing thresholds for weed treatment, selecting the appropriate methods of weed control, herbicide application controls, notifying regulators and the public, and employing qualified contractors. Where practical, attempts are made to utilize mechanical weed control, though effective vegetation control often requires the use of herbicides.
